3D model of a traditional portable Korean lantern known as Chorong. These lanterns were typically made with a wood frame covered by a patterned woven cloth. The model captures the elegance and intricate details of the lantern, featuring a delicate frame, ornamental carvings and vibrant colors. Inspired by the Busan Art Museum collection.

This is piece is part of a larger project in my portfolio titled Abandoned Village. I spent extra time on this smaller prop to test the rendering capabilities of the Unreal Engine Altux plugin, specifically comparing the results between the built in renderer and the path tracing renderer. The renders below are the path tracing results.
